The movie ‘Brother Jekwu’ was directed by renowned Nigeria director, Charles Uwagbai. It stars talented actors and comedians such as Mike Ezuruonye, Angela Okorie, Funny Bone, Wofaifada, Nedu, Klint D Drunk, Huddah Monroe and Sabrina Stadler. The movie was released in cinema on Friday December 2, 2016

The law that drives When Harry Met Sally... says that straight men and women can't be just friends. Okafor's Law argues that once friends get benefits, those benefits last for life. Rooted in the eternal lessons of lust, this saucy romantic comedy further establishes Omoni Oboli as Nigeria's answer to Nancy Meyers and Lena Dunham. The Arbitration is a cautionary tale of lust, betrayal, and corporate ambition..Gbenga (Ukeje), a charming and celebrated entrepreneur who runs a ridiculously profitable tech company, is the defendant in a lawsuit filed by Dara (Adesua Etomi), a computer engineer whose talents helped Gbenga's company achieve its current worth. The former colleagues are also former lovers. Their torrid two-year love affair ended bitterly when Gbenga learned that his wife was pregnant with their first child, and Dara quit the company even though Gbenga had yet to pay her previously promised shares. Her lawsuit seeks compensation for those accounts, but she is also trying to get Gbenga to admit to raping her after the breakup.the movie was directed by Niyi Akinmolayan.



















4.Surulere.  This movie tells the story of patience and resilience, follows the life of a young, timid graduate, Arinze (played by Seun Ajayi) desperate to beat his financial burdens. In his journey, he meets a charming go-getter, Omosigho (played by Berveley Naya).Their meeting shoots off a series of events that pressure Arinze into a get-rich-quick scheme.The movie stars award winning actors including Kemi  lala  Akindoju, Enyimma Nwigwe, Linda Ejiofor and Tope Tedela with cameo appearance from the Producer, Rita Dominic.The movie will be hitting the cinema on Friday, February 12, 2016.

The film was written by Lani Aisida and directed by Uduak-Obong Patrick. The film was shot within Lagos State. The film was released across Nigeria on 13 May 2016.it was released on 13 May 2016.
 2. The Wedding Party is a 2016 Nigerian romantic comedy/drama film, directed by Kemi Adetiba that premiered on 8th September 2016 at TIFF Toronto and on 26th November 2016 at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos. The Wedding party follows the shenanigans that go on during the planning of a wedding in Nigeria. Dunni a 24 year old art gallery owner and only daughter of her parents, Engineer Bamidele and Mrs Tinuade Coker, is about to marry the love of her life, IT entrepreneur Dozie the handsome son of Felix and Obianuju Onwuka. The couple took a vow of chastity and are looking forward to a ground -breaking first night together as a married couple. Between matchmaking attempts on the bridal train, a wedding planner on a mission to succeed, the unruly behaviour of some ‘village’ guests much to Tinuade’s horror, Dunni's uncertainty about her new husband's faithfulness during the time of their courtship, amidst colourful aso-ebi, eclectic music, small chops, and souvenir drama, we begin to wonder whether Dunni and Dozie will get through their wedding reception unscathed. 1.'76, formerly Lions of '76, is a 2016 Nigerian historical fiction drama film produced by Adonaijah Owiriwa and Izu Ojukwu and directed by Izu Ojukwu. It stars Ramsey Nouah, Chidi Mokeme, Rita Dominic and Ibinabo Fiberesima.Set six years after the civil war, a young officer from the Middle Belt gets into a romantic relationship with an O-level student from the South-eastern region. However, their relationship is strained by constant military postings. The soldier gets accused of being involved in the 1976 unsuccessful military coup and assassination of General Murtala Mohammed, and the heavily pregnant wife, gets entangled in an emotional dilemma.The historical account in '76 went through a seven-month approval period at the Nigerian Military before filming started. The film which is set in the '70s was shot in Ibadan, Oyo. The film has been in production for about five years. The movie was selected to premiere at the Toronto International film Festival in September, 2016  and at the BFI London Film Festival
