Yoruba Actress Beats Up Film Marketer Over N250,000 Unpaid Debt
These are definitely not the best of times between popular Yoruba actress cum producer, Lola Ajibola and her marketer, Alhaji Ishola Aiyedun, C.E.O Isolak Films Ltd if the information reaching yorubamoviegist.com is anything to rely on. The 2 business partners we learnt are currently in a seriously cold war over an unpaid debt of a movie the marketer marketed for the actress a long time ago.
According to the information at our disposal, the actress produced a movie titled Talopa Mummy which featured the likes of Femi Adebayo, Moji Olaiya, Dele Odule, Remi Surutu and much more and she sold the movie to the marketer for some huge amount of money in 2013. After the release of the movie, Lola we gathered requested for her money which the marketer couldn’t pay her and he has allegedly been deceptive to the actress since then.
This has generated silent beefing among the 2 parties until when the actress raised alarm; it took the interventions of other marketers especially the president of the association of Yoruba movie marketers who begged the actress to be lenient with the promise that the marketer will pay soon which he started paying with peanut, and to get her balance worth #250,000 became a big problem.
The fight took another shape when Lola stormed Isolak’s office in Arena Oshodi, Lagos on Monday 21st August 2016 to ask for her money. The business partners had a closed-door meeting and then suddenly loud voices were heard coming from Isolak’s office.
On getting there, those who were around found out that they were engaged in a serious argument over the unpaid money and blood was eliciting from the marketer’s mouth. Other marketers around pleaded to the actress before she left the market peacefully after the brouhaha.
