Protest is ongoing now at the university of Lagos gate. however students of Unilag are not partaking in the protest.
apparently because of the indemnity form signed by all Unilag students earlier this year. Their colleagues have chosen to voice out for them since they have no indemnity clause.
National Association of Nigerian Students JCC Lagos Axis...
Greatest Nigerian Students!
Articulate Nigerian Students!!
Ever Sagacious Nigerian Students!!!
Ever Corrosive Nigerian Students!!!!
We the Newly Elected Executives of NANS JCC Lagos Axis on seek for your UNMITIGATING support in tomorrow 29th September, 2016 peaceful protest.
As Nigerian students, it is our obligation to support our neighbouring school in Reinstatement of the student Union and to get back suspended student union Leaders on campus.
An English man will say "AN INJURY TO ONE, IS AN INJURY TO ALL"...
This is not about unilag alone but our brothers yabatech, oceanography are also affected
It is high time we made a statement to management across all institutions in Lagos, letting them know that the era of high handedness is over, that the era of student victimization is over, that impunity on student right will not be tolerated. Now is the -time management of all schools, i say it again "MANAGEMENT OF ALL SCHOOLS" know that Right to Association is one of our Fundamental Rights.
Its Right-time we correct the Notion of scrabbing student Unionism. As we all know "CONFRONTATION" protest is the last C's of Aluta after exhausting all avenues.
It is time to make it clear that protest is our constitutional right and not PREVILEDGE and so we must not be deprived. More reason why ASUU, TUC and NLC go on Protest and countless strikes without being questioned. So why cry fowl play when we protest, very unfair on their part.
Ever ARTICULATE NIGERIAN STUDENT, we are using this medium to Invite NANS ZONE D and call for all reasonable, responsive youth who are ready to stand against Any form of Tyranny,Oppression and fight for Solidarity to let converge at the YABATECH second gate tomorrow by 9.am...
We should not forget that "WHEN THE RIGHT OF ONE IS THREATENED, THE RIGHT OF ALL IS DIMINISHED"
What goes around comes around, its Unilag's turn today, it might be your turn tomorrow...
Yours in progressive Struggle...
