Police takes over at NFF headquarters Following Court order sacking Amaju Pinnick
Police have taken over the NFF (Nigerian Football Federation) Office in Abuja. This occasioned by a court ruling on Thursday that NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, lost the September 2014 elections to Chris Giwa.
FIFA says that Giwa’s claim for the leadership of the NFF was denied last May. FIFA warns that should Pinnick be removed as president, Nigeria will be suspended from all football activities including the World Cup.
